nakagagalak

We're two steps closer to our wedding! Yehey!

License: check!

Rings: check!

Grabe, totoo na ito! Haha. Nakakaexcite! We have yet to decide on the date though. I think we still have to file an application for civil marriage. Already asked mommy for help on this (not financially). Maybe it would be more feasible to have the ceremony in Laguna instead of QC. We'll see.

Was able to send flowers to B via MMS. Hehe. Coolness!

rock-a-bye baby

I was supposed to have my hair cut (and curled) today but I decided to just go home and spend the whole day (chatting) with my boyfriend. Pag long distance relationship, dapat you make time. So I did.

At around 6pm, after he went out with Denice and Mike, ito na siya:

Haha.

I like watching him sleep. He lives up to my term of endearment for him: baby. Hehe.

pitong awit

Uber late ko na nakita to so ngayon ko lang gagawin. Was tagged by Selena. =)

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they’re not any good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LiveJournal/blog along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they’re listening to.

1. Oo by Up Dharma Down - Perfect song for someone who was left by a lover and couldn’t get over it. This would’ve been my song had I been in that situation. Thank God I’m not.

2. Such Great Heights by The Postal Service - A song from Grey’s Anatomy. It’s about waiting for your loved one to come home.

3. Blue Jeans by Rocksteddy - The band’s remake of an APO song. Saya lang pakinggan.

4. Taralets by Imago - The band’s really gone bubblegumpop! Although Aia’s dancing (in the video) turns me off, the song is catchy and I like it.

5. Sugod by Sandwich - I like the video! Astig!

6. Nothing in this World by Paris Hilton - This is my guilty pleasure. Nakakaindak lang. I don’t like Paris at all.

7. Leave the Pieces by The Wreckers - Country song featuring Michelle Branch and the band. Gusto ko lang din.

Kayo ng taya Iggy, Louie, Tracy, Gladys, Moks, Kitch and B!

workstation

I was feeling bleh yesterday morning until I saw a new flat-screen monitor on my desktop. Suddenly, sumaya ako at naexcite magbukas ng PC. Nakakatuwa! Hehehe. While I'm at it, isheshare ko na hitsura ng aking workstation.

Serious stuff--for work, of course, which is the main reason I'm here.

Hahaha.

Nakakaloko stuff--para lang mangulit. Hehe.

Yun lang. =)

k for kasal

First, the marriage license.

I filed the application last Tuesday, just before I left for Hong Kong. Our contact said I should call him on the 20th to remind him that the license should be released on the 23rd.

Second, the rings.

Turned out B doesn't like the design. But he doesn't have a choice now (hehe). Sabi ko, let's just think of it as something for better or for worse, whether you like it or not. Hehehe.

A ring's just a ring, after all. We're getting married and that's what's important.

Third, the church wedding.

Christine told me I should aim to have a church wedding. Jec too.

Okay. Have to talk with B about this pa.

Oh, and Aimee gave me a W@W wedding primer. She's already given me the Wedding Essentials compilation of best weddings. Really useful references.

Thanks bozz! =)

oh and

I found our ring. It's similar to the one I posted. Got it for around P10k+ lang. It's 18k white and yellow gold.

Salamat kay Ems! Hehe. =)

am back

From Hong Kong. My favorite city so far. Hehe.

I love Hong Kong. But I can live in either.

Coming home is bitter-sweet.

Haler, parang kayang-kaya natin maachieve yun. Siguro dapat lang ioverhaul ang gubyerno natin. Puro corrupt na ang nakaupo dun eh. Buyset.

Sabi nga ni Christine, "You're always welcome here, Kat." It's always good to be home.

God sent me a nudge

You start the day, thinking all is shitty. There's tons of work to do. You're far away from the one you love. Manila's still in a state of calamity. Our politicians still aren't getting any work done. Our president's playing billiards with Bata and Django. You buy breakfast and the cashier didn't hear you wanted pancakes only, no coffee so she makes a mistake and re-punches your order. You order something for lunch and it takes forever before your order is brought to you.

Then as you walk back to the office building, you pass through a couple of guys who smell good.

Then when you get to the elevator, you find yourself standing between two cute guys who smell good as well.

Suddenly you feel better and think, hey, the world's still a pretty nice place--with lots of goodlooking, good-smelling guys.

I almost heard God telling me "hija, be thankful. You have a sense of sight to ogle at mabango-looking guys and perfect olfactory sensitivity to smell their Hugo Boss and Ralph Lauren's."

Hahahaha. I know God has a sense of humor.

Thank YOU po. : )

And thank You for the best-smelling guy of all, whose Clinique Happy for Men I can smell even if he's miles away. : )

we found our ring

Yellow and white gold celtic ring. : ) Mahirap linisin pero kebs. Hehehe.

SG in pictures

Because there's not much time to blog about Singapura, I'll just post some pictures. : )

Siempre, the main reason I went there last month is to celebrate B's birthday. Ayan ang birthday boy with his mocha cake from Breadtalk.

Squid heads are fried until they're uber crisp tapos nakatuhog sa stick. One stick is S$1.10.

Isa pang favorite namin is Shihli Taiwan crispy chicken. Tas stick lang ibibigay for making tuhog the manok. Hehe. Isang pack nito ay S$3.20.

Tas I tried din New York Pizza.

Note the similarity with Jollibee's font.

Sarap sa toast with butter.

Inihaw siya tapos may sambal (chilli and tomatoes) sa ibabaw. Ang dip niya ay parang kimchi. Sarap nito!

Manila Street that is. Parang mall! Hehehe. Kung estudyante ako, maeenganyo ako magaral dun.

Yun lang po. : )
