One of our favorite places to eat in is Lau Pa Sat. It used to be a market and it's near the Raffles Place MRT station. We usually go there after work to eat dinner before heading home. Ang mga pinakapaborito namin kainin ay:
Satay. I love chicken satay kasi it's tender, unlike the mutton or beef satay. Prawn satay is also available pero ayoko mahighblood so I always choose chicken. It's grilled chicken meat served with cucumber, onions and peanut sauce. The satay is savoury kaya bagay talaga sa sweet and spicy na peanut sauce. Yum!
BBQ Stingray. Super sarap neto. Pwedeng ulam, pwedeng pulutan. It's inihaw na stingray with sambal. Sambal is "chilli pounded together with shrimp paste" according to Wikipedia so maanghang siya na maalat. It is served with calamansi and parang alamang na maanghang. Yummy with rice!
